Call to Worship - Jeanie Barnes
June is Pride Month. I invite you to come before God to acknowledge the diversity of God's people and the inclusion of all and recognize how that shapes us as a church.
Spirit of God, we thank you for all those in whom the light of love shines forth.
Opening Hymn #769: “For Everyone Born, a Place at the Table,” alternate approved version, verses 1,4,5,6 FOR EVERYONE BORN
Moment for Reconciliation - Rev. Ginny Ellis
We rejoice in the light that shines in the darkness, but we remember how much more light is needed. There is so much yet to be done for us and by us:
Right Side: So much justice yet to be established.
Left Side: So much pain yet to be healed,
Right Side: So much peace yet to be realized,
Left Side: So much love yet to pour forth.
Leader: Let us join in a Unison Prayer.
ALL: O God, let the peace and power of your Spirit renew and lead us! Touch with your sustaining presence all those in deep need of your care -- those who wander in depression and confusion, those afraid of the public voices raised against them, those who despair out of loneliness and fear, those who struggle for justice and peace, those who live with hope of the new day not yet seen. Through your Spirit and your people, come and make all things new, O God, God of transforming power and love!
Assurance of Pardon - Ginny Ellis
Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Let us claim that hope, that promise for all God's people, and treat each one we meet with the love and joy and welcome of God.
May it be so. Thanks be to God.
Lighting the Peace Candle and Passing the Peace - Ginny Ellis
The peace of Christ be with you. / And also with you.

We dedicate these gifts, Lord, even as we dedicate ourselves, trusting you whether we find ourselves in times of great challenge or celebrating the simple joys of living. We are ready to follow, traveling on in commitment to your promised kingdom. Use us, Lord, in the work of that kingdom and make us truly grateful for all your gifts. Amen.

Professing our common faith – Apostles Creed:
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
