Prayer for Reconciliation (unison) - Rev. Jeanie Barnes

Creator God, it is you who have made us, and not we ourselves. We are dust without your breath of life. We are creatures, not creator; yet you entrust the care of your creation to us. Breathe your Spirit into us that we might be faithful in the tasks you set before us; through Jesus Christ, who came to redeem your lost creation.  (Silence is kept.)

Assurance of Pardon - Jeanie Barnes

In the cross, we see God's amazing love for us. We are God's children, living in a confused world. In abundant grace, God answers our doubt, heals our pain, and forgives our failures in grace. Therefore we can know that in the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and made new.

Thanks be to God for evermore! Amen.

Passing of the Peace - Jeanie Barnes

Be at peace with God, with yourself, and with one another.

The peace of Christ be with you. / And also with you.
