Call to Worship (From Psalm 90) - Ginny Ellis
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations. / Before the mountains were brought forth
Or before you had formed the earth / From everlasting to everlasting, you are God
Be our stronghold, O God, be the rock of our refuge.
Hymn #8 “Eternal Father, Strong to Save” MELITA
Unison Prayer of Confession - Ginny Ellis
O God, we are your people, but we are far from perfect. As long as loneliness, poverty, and pain exist, we know we have work to do. Still, we do not know how best to reach out to each other or to you. Our sin holds us back. Help us, O Lord, move beyond bondage of sin and truly be your children together. In Jesus’ holy name we pray, Amen.
Assurance of Pardon - Ginny Ellis
If anyone is in Christ, that person becomes a new person altogether. The past is finished and gone. Everything has become fresh and new. Friends, believe the good news of the gospel: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
Passing of the Peace - Ginny Ellis
May the peace of Christ be with you / And also with you.
Response #71 refrain (sung twice) FIRST SONG
Surely it is God who saves me, I will trust and not be afraid.
For the Lord is my stronghold and my sure defense and God will be my Savior.

Affirmation of Faith -- Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Great Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you. And also with you.
Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.
LET US PRAY…
Now as we come to this table and stand before you …we join the unending hymn:
Hymn 552
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
God of Mercy…
…And may it be that this fragrant bread and cup may be for us today the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, for surely....
Great is the mystery of Faith: Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.
Faithful God, hear the deep and searching prayers of our hearts, as we pray for ourselves and for this world and all who seek your healing and your peace. Hear us as we pray today, using the words that Jesus taught his disciples, for we are bold to pray:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
