Come, Holy Spirit, fill us with the fire and breath of God, so that as beloved and forgiven people we may live truly grateful lives, forgiving others when the need arises, and always showing the joy of our faith, through Christ our Lord, Amen. (silence)
Assurance of God’s Pardon - Ginny Ellis
The Spirit of God comes upon us in the church, to fire us up and to stir us with the very breath of life. Through the wind and fire of God's Spirit we are aroused to believe this good news:
In Jesus Christ we are forgiven people; indeed forgiven. We are the people of God!
