Prayer is the way we interact with God, bringing our hopes, fears, confessions and concerns, at the same time listening for God’s voice, God’s word to us. Let us come now in prayer before our God.

Unison Prayer of Forgiveness - Amy Santamaria

God of all people, the shadows and gloom of Good Friday were dispersed by the light, the color, the Alleluias of Easter Sunday. Turn our own sorrows into joy, our despairs into hope, our defeats into victory, and the evil around us into goodness. Help us to burst out of any tombs of selfishness, greed, scandal, or pride that have trapped us. Help us to have the courage and humility needed to ask forgiveness when we need to. Help us to live a new life: set free by divine grace and the great love that we saw on Easter morning. Dear Christ, you are indeed our Hope, our Life, and our Joy. Amen and Amen.
