Call to Worship - Ginny Ellis
On glory’s mountaintops of wonder and delight, we wait:
For God’s amazing grace to transform our shadowed lives.
In the valleys of everyday life, where noise overwhelms us, we wait:
Willing to spend time simply being in God’s presence.
In the devouring fires of fear, in the midst of misguided living, we wait:
For the One who comes in majesty, to lead us down the path of humility.
The Lord God is Holy! Let us worship God!
Hymn #409: ”God is Here!” ABBOTT’S LEIGH
Prayer of the Day - Rev. Megan McMillan
Revealing God: on the peaks of promise we discover anew the gentle but astonishing delight of you. Come into our weary lives. Help us turn to discover you, as we trudge along in our valleys of the ordinary. Transform every day events into miracles of awe. May we who are gathered here to worship you this day experience your presence and be transformed to live out your ways in the world. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Affirmation of Faith -- Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
