Call to Worship - Megan McMillan

God is doing new things in the life of this church.

We are told the Lord makes all things new.

God never abandons us; God is always present.

We praise the Lord’s presence with us today and every day.

God gives us all we need to serve the Lord and glorify Christ’s name.

We give our hearts in thankfulness for the Lord’s abundant grace and mercy.

Hymn #441 “Hear the Good News of Salvation” NETTLETON

Call to Reconciliation - Megan McMillan

We come here to worship to glorify God. If we hide our sins we fail in glorifying our Lord. We must accept the conviction of the Holy Spirit and bring the things we have done before God. Let us now confess our sin before God and one another.

Unison Prayer of Forgiveness - Megan McMillan

O Holy One, we come to church to seek You and to recharge ourselves even though we know you are with us always. As much as we’d like, we cannot be as sinless as You would like us to be. As a broken people, we seek Your forgiveness for the times that we fail to be who You have made us to be. We seek to be whole within You, Your Son, and the Holy Spirit. By Your mercy, forgive our sins. By Your grace, free us to try again. Silence is kept. Amen.

Assurance of Forgiveness - Megan McMillan

God reaches into our hearts and writes of love for us. God’s desires for us to be with God eternally are disrupted because of our sin. But God knows we are sinful by nature, so God sent God’s only Son to atone for all of our sin debt, once and for all. Friends, hear the Good News of the Gospel: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven, freed and made whole. Thanks be to God!
