Call to Worship (from Psalm 103) - Ginny Ellis

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless God's holy name.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all God’s benefits—

Our God forgives all your iniquity and heals all your diseases,

Our God redeems your life from the Pit, and crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,

The Lord satisfies you with good as long as you live

so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Hymn #409: “God Is Here!” ABBOT’S LEIGH

Call to Reconciliation - Ginny Ellis

None of us is without fault, and too many hang their heads feeling guilty and unworthy. But Jesus invites each of us to be the new creation he has in mind for us. Let’s take a moment to set aside the things we regret, so that we can start fresh this very day.

Unison Prayer of Forgiveness - Ginny Ellis

O God, our sins are too heavy to carry, too real to hide, and too deep to undo. Forgive what we tremble to name, what our hearts can no longer bear. Set us free from the past we cannot change, for a future in which you change us to grow in your likeness, more and more each day. In the grace of Christ our Lord. Amen.

Assurance of Forgiveness - Ginny Ellis

If anyone is in Christ, that person becomes a new person altogether. The past is finished and gone; everything has become fresh and new. Friends, believe the good news of the gospel: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
