Bless the Lord at all times./ Let everyone bless God.

Praise the Lord continually. / Let everyone praise Christ.

Our souls boast in the Lord / We boast in the Spirit’s greatness.

With one voice, we magnify and exalt the Lord, for God has delivered us and made us whole. / Exalt our God, the Lord of life.

Hymn #39: “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” FAITHFULNESS

Call to Reconciliation - Rev. Megan H. McMillan

Jesus calls us to enter the joy of discipleship, the joy of following in his way. But sin clings closely, and we struggle to respond fully to Christ’s invitation. Let us seek God’s forgiveness so that we may know more deeply the joy God intends.

Unison Prayer of Forgiveness - Megan McMillan

God of perfect love, you continually bring forth life, transforming sadness to joy, and despair to hope. We are weak, but you are strong. Our ways are flawed, but your ways are true. We are seldom right, but you are never wrong. Forgive us, redeem us, transform us. Take away the sin that burdens us, and restore us to the people you would have us be, for the sake of Christ. By your mercy, forgive our sins. By your grace, free us to try again. Silence is kept. Amen.

Assurance of Forgiveness - Megan McMillan

Relentlessly, God seeks us out. With abundant grace and boundless mercy, God seeks us out. Friends, hear the Good News of the Gospel: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven, freed and made whole! Thanks be to God!
