Call to Worship - Ginny Ellis

Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble;

therefore we will not be afraid.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change,

Though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea.

…Please join me now in our unison prayer.

Almighty Gardener God, we thank you for planting the seed of your word in us. By your Holy Spirit, help us to receive your word of truth with joy and live according to that word, so your word may be a seed watered and nurtured, so we may increase in faith and in hope and in love. We do pray that you will grant peace to our world, to our church and community, and to each of us, through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Statement of Faith from I Corinthians 15 (unison) -  Susan Luehrs

This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are saved, if we hold it fast:  that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared first to the women, then to Peter, and to the twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses.We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end; he is our Lord and our God.

Prayers of the People and the Lord's Prayer  - Ginny Ellis

Presentation of our Gifts - Susan Luehrs

Please join me in our unison prayer:

Almighty God, whose loving hand has given us all that we possess, grant us grace that we may honor you with our substance, and, remembering the account which we must one day give, may we be faithful stewards of your bounty, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
