…Please join me in a time of responsive prayer:
Almighty, Gardener God, we thank you for planting your Word in us.
By your Holy Spirit, help us to receive that word of truth with joy,
so that your word may be a seed watered and nurtured and we may grow in faith and hope and love.
We pray that you will grant peace to our world, to our church and community, and to each of us,
through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen.

Statement of Faith from I Corinthians 15 (unison) - Mary-Linda Armacost
This is the good news which we have received, in which we stand, and by which we are saved, if we hold it fast: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day; and that he appeared first to the women, then to Peter, and to the twelve, and then to many faithful witnesses. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end; he is our Lord and our God.
Presentation of our Gifts - Mary-Linda Armacost
…Please join me in our unison prayer:
God, we know that your gifts are not for storing away, that they are meant to be used and enjoyed. Help us in this time of offering to share with you the gift of our lives, that which we use and enjoy, returning this portion with deep gratitude. In Christ's name, Amen.
