Call to Worship - Ginny Ellis
I lift my eyes to the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
God will not let your foot slip; he will not slumber.
God, who watches over us, will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord will keep us from all harm.
*Processional Hymn #403: “Open Now Thy Gates of Beauty” UNSER HERRSCHER
Call to Reconciliation - Mary-Linda Armacost
Prayer for Reconciliation - Mary-Linda Armacost
God of all creation, of all people and nations, of all that is, our hearts break when we think of the brokenness around us: poverty, sickness, hunger, grief, injustice. With sorrow, we think of war and violence in your world. Help each of us to ponder who we are and what we can do to change the world we live in, or to change the corner of that world where we might have a role to play. Give us hearts for courage and hope for reconciliation, forgiveness, and peace, today and in all the days to come, as we follow the Prince of Peace. In his precious, holy name. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon - Mary-Linda Armacost
Friends, believe the Good News. / In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
The Peace Candle and the Passing of the Peace - Mary-Linda Armacost
…The peace of Christ be with you. / And also with you.
