Call to Worship From the Iona Abbey Worship Book - Ginny Ellis

Sing aloud and rejoice, clap your hands, raise your voice,
For with unnerving choice God in love has found us.
and God displays around us power to speak and heal,
       Grace to know what’s real.
Come.  Let us praise our God.

Unison Prayer of Confession - Ginny Ellis

God, you call our names.  When we hesitate to follow you, or when we cling to the known and familiar ways, or when we fear to step out in faith, break down the barriers in our hearts and walk with us.  Forgive our halting steps and our shy voices.  Let us carry your truth wherever you send us.  In Christ we pray, Amen.

Assurance of Pardon - Ginny Ellis

God is faithful and just, forgiving our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. Friends, believe the good news: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

Passing of the Peace - Ginny Ellis

May the peace of Christ be with you.  And also with you.
