Call to Reconciliation - Megan McMillan

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our transgressions even as they occur. As much as we believe our sins are hidden, nothing is hidden from God. God calls us to come clean and recognize our sins by confessing them to God and seeking restoration with a penitent heart. Let us now confess the things we attempt to hide; first in unison, then in personal silence.

Unison Prayer of Forgiveness - Megan McMillan

Creator God, we have fallen short in our efforts to be what You want us to be. We ignore the things You want us to do because they are too hard, or too inconvenient. We do the things that You would rather we not do because they serve our own best interests. We have a priority problem, Lord. We place so many wants, needs, and desires above and before You. For these things we seek Your forgiveness. Give us strength to overcome ourselves.  Silence is kept. Amen

Assurance of Forgiveness  - Megan

Although God is vast beyond measure, we know that each one of us matter to God. God loves us and doesn’t want anyone to perish in the payment for our sin debt; so, God sent Jesus Christ to atone for our sins once and forever. Friends, hear the Good News of the Gospel: In Jesus Christ we are forgiven, freed, and made whole! Thanks be to God.
